About Jay
Jay Marchesseault
Jay was born in Dillon, MT on a cattle ranch and grew up dreaming of being a cowboy. Rather than achieving this dream, he went on to pursue a BS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University. Upon graduation he entered the US Navy and spent five years babysitting nuclear reactors. The only good thing that came out of the Navy was his introduction to rock climbing. After the Navy Jay moved to California and expanded his climbing horizon to include mountaineering and ice climbing. His passion for mountaineering has led him to the peaks of Alaska, Argentina and Peru.
